The tablets sink to the bottom, dissolving slowly with environmentally safe binders. This controlled release boosts dissolved oxygen by up to 50% more than manual aeration, balances pH, and creates ideal conditions for beneficial bacteria. Eco-Tabs™ use our proprietary Microdot Separation Technology™ (MST), which creates countless effervescent plumes when the tablet is dropped into wastewater. These plumes form as microdots of bicarbonate break away, settle throughout the tank, and attach to grease and organic waste.

As each microdot reacts, it releases oxygen—disrupting hypoxic conditions, reducing foul odors, and breaking down waste without the need for mechanical stirring. This oxygen release accelerates the growth of aerobic bacteria, ensuring deep and complete treatment across the entire system—including sludge layers.

Eco-Tabs™ support bioremediation by delivering beneficial bacteria that feed on excess nutrients—often introduced by human activities like agriculture, sewage, and industrial waste. These pollutants can trigger harmful algae growth, which depletes oxygen and slows natural bacterial cleanup.

Bacteria typically reproduce via a process called “Binary Fission”.  In this process the original cell is called the parent cell. The parent cell duplicates its internal component, including the genetic material (DNA), and then divides to form two daughter cells.  The daughter cells are clones of the parent cell. The daughter cells then continue to grow and divide to produce more cells.  If conditions are favourable the bacteria will continue to increase in population size.

Bacterial growth depends on several factors:

• Genetics: Bacteria must have the right genes to produce proteins needed to digest specific nutrients (e.g., glucose).
  
• Nutrient Availability: Even with the right genes, bacteria won’t grow without access to essential nutrients.
  
• Environmental Conditions: Temperature, pH, oxygen levels, and pressure all impact growth. Each strain has an optimal range — too low or too high, and growth slows.
